Request an RMA from Cascadia Motion
Please Note

RMA process typically takes 4–8 weeks. We will attempt to notify our customer of any extended lead times.

$650 per unit is charged to cover diagnostics and troubleshooting, regardless of our ability to repair.

Drain and clean all coolant before return. Units returned with coolant leaks in the packaging are subject to a $450 cleaning and waste disposal fee.

Customers are responsible for returning material DDP (Deliver Duties Paid) to Cascadia Motion and arranging return from Cascadia Motion EXW (Ex Works).

Note: Failure to properly return material to Cascadia Motion may result in additional fees and delayed repairs

Unclaimed or unpaid hardware may be disposed of after 3 months from the received date.

Step 1: Contact Cascadia Motion Support
Before submitting an RMA, please first submit a support ticket.
RMA inquiries submitted without prior contact will be rejected.
Include the following in your inquiry:

You may also be asked to provide:

Diagnostic Data

Step 2: Submit RMA
If directed to submit an RMA:

Click the "Submit RMA" button at the bottom of the RMA page.

An email with instructions and authorization forms will be sent to the address provided.

Do not return any materials before receiving authorization.
Before shipping:
-
Drain all coolant, flush with water, and purge with air. Install caps on coolant ports, if possible.

Properly package the unit. Shipping damage is the customer’s responsibility.

Place a copy of the RMA forms inside the package.
-
Ship to the address listed in the RMA form DDP (Deliver Duty Paid)

Step 3: Diagnostics and Troubleshooting
Once the product arrives at our facility:

The hardware will be unpacked and visually inspected.
-
Initial analysis and troubleshooting will be performed.

The customer will receive:
-
A summary of findings
-
A repair quotation
-
Note:
Customers must notify Cascadia Motion whether to proceed with repair by submitting a Purchase Order.
If repair is declined, the unit can be scrapped.
$650 diagnostics fee applies in all cases.
If the repair is covered under warranty, a $0 quotation will be provided.
Cascadia Motion determines the warranty status for all RMA submissions.
Important:
The repair quotation is an estimate. If costs exceed the original estimate, we will pause work and notify you of the updated quote.​
Step 4: Repair and Final Invoice
After approval:

The hardware will be repaired.

The inverter will be reprogrammed and tested.

An invoice will be issued for the repair.
-
Payment is required before return shipping.
Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
