How to Use This Tool
- Enter values into the "Motor Torque and Speed Calculator". If unknown, enter best guess. The calculator needs all required inputs except for "Optional Additional Ratio".
- Ensure "Max Incline" is percent, not degrees
- Note units of measurement are metric
Motor Torque and Speed Calculator
Required Motor Torque: -- Nm
Required Motor Speed: -- RPM
How to Use This Tool
- Enter values into the "Product Selection Tool". These values can be found using the "Motor Torque and Speed Calculator" or entered directly if already known.
- The "Battery Voltage Architecture" is intended to delineate which solutions work best with a lower system voltage, or higher system voltage. For example, a nominal battery voltage of 700VDC would be considered an 800VDC architecture.
- If no solutions are recommended, then the required torque or motor speed for the application exceeds a standard product offering.
- Cascadia offers several stacked motor solutions, which are not included as part of this tool. Contact Cascadia Motion Sales for questions about your specific application.
