Professional Motorsports

Cascadia Motion has provided KERS and now ERS Control Unit hardware to some Formula One teams every season since 2009.

Projects have included leMans Prototype LMP hybrid propulsion for Nissan, Drayson, Lola Cars, Peugeot and others, Hillclimb cars, eWRC, Formula E constructors, & many others.

Motorcycles

Cascadia Motion supplied the winning propulsion electronics at the Isle of Man TT Zero 4 years in a row, took Pike's Peak with a commanding margin, and set multiple land speed records.

The Cascadia Motion propulsion solution is the basis for several new OEM electric motorcycles.

Bus and Heavy Duty

Cascadia Motion supplies to commercial vehicle makers from class 2 through 8, both BEV and hybrid.

Mining equipment, military ground vehicles, commercial buses, and specialty heavy duty vehicle propulsion are also supported. Lastly, we produce specialty high PWM rate inverters for electrified turbomachinery.

Custom Product Development
Cascadia Motion designs and develops custom products for OEMs and Tier 1 automotive customers using an industry- accepted new product development process.
  • We cover all aspects of design from concept through DV and then on to low volume production. We also provide a pathway to higher-volume production with BorgWarner.
  • Test and validation services complying with ISO16750 leading to production launch are supported. ​​
  • Cascadia Motion is certified by TUV-Nord for ISO26262 product development to any ASIL level.
